Laura Larrodera is a research fellow at the Department of English and German Philology of the University of Zaragoza, a position she secured in May 2022, after being granted a competitive research fellowship financed by the University of Zaragoza.
Laura graduated in English Studies in 2015 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Education in 2017, after defending her MA thesis entitled “A PBLL Didactic Unit Proposal on Teaching Against Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation.”
She is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program offered by the University of Zaragoza and in writing her PhD thesis on AIs and Nonbinary Identities in 2010s Queer and Feminist Science Fiction, under the supervision of Prof. Sonia Baelo Allué and Prof. Mónica Calvo Pascual. Her main research interests lie in contemporary North American fiction, gender, sexuality, the posthuman, the inhuman, bodies, science fiction, horror and videogames.
